LingWear aims to develop wearable language support to assist tourists, visitors, humanitarian and military personal that are moving in a foreign language environment. LingWear includes language translation, navigation assistance and information access by voice, handwriting, gesture and image processing.

LingWear is a project of the Interactive Systems Labs of Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Karlsruhe, Germany.
